We find it outrageous and wrong that the Robbinsville schools did not get the funding to which we are entitled. And, despite approximately a 7% inflation rate, that did not happen. Under the state’s revamped funding formula, we expected approximately $2 million more to support our upcoming budget. The Robbinsville schools received very disappointing news from the state this week - we are the only school district in Mercer County to not see an increase in state aid funding for the upcoming school year. District Statement Re: State Funding Shortfall Other than that, I think HTSP is a great place to go to school!. It is not everyone but it still must be addressed.
For example, my school has a little reputation of the students there being racist and I would be a clown if I said I didn't see it.
Though, I love my school, there are a few things that need to fixed. I enjoy attending Steinert High School, the way I feel walking through those halls must be the same way Beyonce feels at the Grammys there so much motivation. there so many intertwined organizations and clubs that really pulls together the different student bodies of each school and I love that because it makes everyone feel welcomed.
One thing that I really admire about Hamilton Township schools is that we all work together as a unit. Especially at my high school Steinert they do their to make sure we have a great atmosphere in school. Senior: I have been a student in Hamilton since I was in kindergarten and I must say that this district treats all the students like family. Overall, not a perfect district, but a resourceful and interesting district nonetheless. However, it must be highlighted that not every individual who is part of the community acts this way, occasionally there are cases of bigotry and violence but those cases are taken care of in a manner where both sides are looked into and the rightful punishment (when possible) goes to the perpetrator and the victim gets the help and support they need. In fact, students are taught from their elementary days to be accepting and kind towards every individual and this is consistent throughout the student's academic career. There is little to no pressure for a person to be, act or look a certain way. We are one of the diversely populated districts in the USA, and I'm not only talking about race, orientation etc. Upon first glance, one cannot possibly manage to establish a proper image of the school. Sophomore: West-Windsor Plainsboro is probably one of the most interesting school districts I have come across.
